St Augustine's Priory An inspiring community dedicated to empowering pupils through education and faith.

St Augustine’s Priory is a Catholic independent day school catering for girls aged 2-18 years old and boys in the Nursery. The school is committed to preparing girls for life-long effectiveness as well as examination success. The Prep and Junior School caters for girls, with boys in the Nursery and girls from Prep I (Reception) to Upper II (Year 6). The Senior School caters for girls from Form III

(Year 7) to Upper VI (Year 13).

We have a vibrant and exciting Sixth Form, with a history dating back as far as 1634, the school's priority is to maintain the happiness and progress of every child whilst embodying our school motto, 'Veritas'.

Our pupils leave St Augustine's with resilience, academic success, ethical principles and societal awareness ready for any challenges the future may hold.

📚🗣️ Modern Languages Poetry Competition 🗣️📚

Congratulations to our Year 8 pupils who took part in the Poetry By Heart Competition, memorising and performing poems in French, Russian and Spanish.

A special congratulations to our winners: ✨ Ayaka (French), ✨ Sienna (Russian) and ✨ Tatiana (Spanish), who impressed judges with their confident and expressive recitals. Well done also to runner-up Zarah for her outstanding performance.

We now wish Ayaka and Tatiana the very best as they prepare to represent St Augustine’s Priory at the St Mary’s University Poetry Live Final in June. 👏

🥾❄️ Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award Expedition ❄️🥾

Earlier this month, our Year 10 pupils showed incredible resilience, teamwork and determination during their Silver DofE practice expedition in the Surrey Hills.

Walking up to 20 kilometres each day across challenging terrain, pupils navigated routes, pitched tents, cooked meals and managed camp life independently, all while supporting and encouraging one another along the way.

Despite the near-freezing temperatures, spirits stayed high, with evenings spent sharing stories, songs and laughter around the campfire. Staff were especially impressed by the pupils’ perseverance, positivity and willingness to step outside their comfort zones.

An unforgettable experience that has strengthened confidence, leadership and independence ahead of their qualifying expedition. 👏

We are delighted to welcome our new Priory Sixth Leadership Team. Congratulations to Retika, our new Head Girl, and Evie, our new Deputy Head Girl.

Congratulations also to Esinam, Deputy Head Girl of Preps and Pre-Preps, Otylia, Deputy Head Girl of Faith Life, and Rayan, Deputy Head Girl of Inclusion and Wellbeing.

Our Nursery and Reception children had a fantastic time welcoming ZooLab into school as part of their EYFS learning! 🦎🐍🐭

The children met a range of fascinating animals including a Gecko, Corn Snake, Giant Cockroaches and Mice. They loved having the opportunity to carefully observe, pet and learn all about the animals’ habitats, eating habits, behaviours and how they are cared for.

There was so much excitement and curiosity throughout the visit, with the children asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own knowledge. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that helped bring the natural world to life in a fun, engaging and memorable way.

A huge thank you to ZooLab and all of their amazing animals for such a special visit! ✨

Congratulations to all of our pupils who took part in this year’s UK Junior Maths Challenge! 🧮✨
An amazing 23 pupils achieved awards -
over half of all participants! Special congratulations to Elizabeth (Silver & Best in Year 6), Sana (Gold & Best in Year 7) and Yui (Gold & Best in School).
We are also thrilled that Sana and Ayaka have qualified for the Junior Kangaroo, while Muyun and Yui have progressed to the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
A fantastic achievement and a wonderful reflection of the hard work taking place in Ms Lee’s Maths Challenge Club! 🎉
