Join us for a special artists’ talk accompanying an exhibition curated and organised by UAL Alumni of Colour Association, including artists from UAL Showcase.
This collaborative exhibition is the culmination of a mentorship programme in which alumni volunteers have closely mentored graduating students to develop new work.
Curated by UAL alumni volunteer Samar F. Zia.
The talk will be led by Alessandro Babalola, an award-winning actor, writer, director, and Co-Chair at the Soho Theatre.
The UAL Alumni of Colour Network is a collaborative community that aims to support people of colour in the creative industries.
Run by alumni volunteers, the association organises supportive events throughout the year. These feature inspirational speakers and are a great chance to meet like-minded creatives.
ArtWorks East is a creative hub located in the heart of Leyton. Designed to foster collaboration and spark inspiration, our space brings together artists, designers, filmmakers, editors, and creatives of all kinds under one roof.
Founded by Leia Darla, 2015 BA (Hons) Fine Art, Central Saint Martins, UAL.
