Falk Egg is one of the most unique and exciting places you will ever come across. We may have the party hard reputation of Loughborough but you will struggle to meet a more accepting and kindhearted group of people! The diversity and creativeness of Falk Egg gives us the platform to put on some cracking events and anyone lucky enough to live here could just have the time of their life. It is often said Falk Egg isn't just a hall... It's a way of life.

We end our committee introductions with the hall chair and vice hall chair. As vice chair, George Bewick is responsible for making sure everything is going to plan throughout the hall and makes sure all hall notices and developments are noted. Aswell as this George is the male social chair for Falk Egg meaning he is in charge of the lads socials throughout the year so make sure you keep in his good books. Look out for him on Friday, as we have a feeling he'll be a bit lost dressed as a certain princess peach... George Etherington (Evvy) is the head honcho of Falk Egg as your hall chair. He is responsible for how the hall is run and calls all the shots. He may be going into his third year but he is the biggest child in Falk Egg with the maturity of a 5 year old. If there's anything he loves more than getting nibbles out of people it's himself, George has a head bigger than his collection of bandanas and loves to compare himself to the X factor reject Jake Quickenden. Educationally Evvys course is pretty much designing fonts, so his career prospects look pretty much in the same state as old Mr. Quickendens music career. Evvy will be there to meet you on move in day and give an introduction to Falk Egg.

Introducing your stash rep and hall treasurer. He may be featuring later in the business end of these introductions but don't be fooled in thinking he's overly important he just designs and sells all the hall stash. After destroying his knee in a rugby accident at the start of the year Joe spent a long period of first year in a wheelchair. He may have been disabled but he was very able to charm the ladies with his wheelie good graft. Joe also loves mashed potato. Ruth is our hall treasurer so is in charge of the halls finance meaning she is a very important individual. She flaunted her strong financial management skills off by travelling around the world all summer with what was obviously a very well managed budget, good management she also keeps for the hall. At around 2ft high, you'll do well to see her over freshers but keep your eyes peeled at ground level and you'll find the lovely and helpful lady herself, who I'm certain will give you guidance on your own money management too. Stay tuned tomorrow for the final two members we introduce, before the real countdown begins!

Today we meet your two social secs. These are the guys responsible for sorting out hall events throughout the year such as freshers, summer and winter ball, old boys etc. They also work hard to get you the best deals possible with the clubs in town. After last year Dom is looking to change his ways and earn a reputation as someone who is waiting for true love, and hopefully find a nice fresher to settle down with. He is a qualified referee and is used to controlling football games, just a shame he can't control his tear ducts when someone is mean to him in the same manner he controls a game. As many of you will find out Dom is prone to nibbling so expect some comment from him on this. Our second social sec Joe is always a friendly face around the hall so he is a very easy to make friends with. If you become good enough friends with him he may even make you a sentimental cushion with loads of cute, meaningful words about your relationship on it. You will definitely see these two around a lot and will get to meet them when you pick up your freshers packs on move in day

Today we introduce Orla and Harry, our other two sport secs. Like Holly and Sam, they organise IMS events and teams throughout the year. Harry ‘Sporton’ Norton likes to keep fit, keeping a bench press in his room to give himself a nice big chest (wonder what he’s compensating for there). Unfortunately this heavyweight doubles as a bit of a lightweight on a night out, but still gets up to help run all the sport we have going on. Orla came to university with high hopes of getting into a good AU sport team. Unfortunately she only managed to make it into the AU lifesaving team though, and this dream is therefore still unfulfilled. Often seen enjoying herself in Falk Egg corner on a Stuesday, yet still up in time for all the sport on Wednesday though is admirable. You’ll be meeting these two on move in day signing up for sports that take your fancy

Meet Holly and Sam the first of your four Sport Secs. They will be organising IMS events and teams throughout the year. Sam the first of the Sport Secs gained the name milkman last year after showing his love for milk during hustings week, destroying the milk challenge... Almost. Ending up very much in the same mess as his last night in Loughborough, minus the special trip to Leicester to get a bit of help. Our second Sport Sec Holly is one of the sportiest Falk Eggers around, winning the Falk Egg best IMS sportswoman in the first term meaning she's the ideal person to be undertaking the sport position. You will be meeting these two when you move in where they will be signing you up for IMS sports that you're interested in

Introducing your two RAG Reps for the year, meet Fraser and Jack. These guys will be leading RAG Raids, giving you the opportunity to travel round the country collecting money for charity in some great places also giving you the chance to have some crazy nights out in some big venues at the same time. Both Reps are incredibly committed to doing their part for charity, Fraser was the highest raising fresher in the uni last year bringing in over £3000 from raids and has spent most of his summer volunteering for the RNLI. Jack took part in the three peak challenge over summer raising an amazing amount of money, as well as getting one of the most outrageous trims including the sacrifice of both eyebrows on stage in front of the hall last year all in order of raising money. These two will give you more info about RAG once you've moved in and will regularly be updating you on all RAG raids and events going on throughout the year.

Struggling to get any action at uni? Well our action reps Beth and Sian will be able to help. They will be getting you involved with helping out in the local community with loads of opportunities to volunteer on a bunch of great projects. Our first action rep is Sian. After a summer full of travelling the best destination she will be travelling to this year is the famous Falk Egg bouley. Our second action rep is Beth, if ever find yourself needing the toilet on a night but don't know where to go, don't ask her, she herself has very little idea too and has had to improvise in some questionable places in the past. You'll be hearing a lot from these two when you move in so be sure to get involved and do your part

Meet your two media reps, these are the people who will be papping you at various events throughout the year and producing other media for the hall. First up we have the feisty Brazilian, Luana. After a busy season working in Malia she's come back to be a much more exciting type of rep. You will always see Luana out but don't mess with her or "ruin her cred" on a night out or you could find yourself in the firing line. Our second media rep is Alin an international student from Romania, keep an eye out for him in fusion as he well nearly always be seen around the punching bag on a night out.
