We're proud to announce that we have been recognised as one of the UK's fastest-rising universities after climbing 24 places in the Complete University Guide 2027! 🙌🎓
This result makes us the third-highest riser nationally and the most improved university in the East of England and follows a year of recognition for Bedfordshire's teaching quality and student experience.
In The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026, the University climbed 11 places overall and was ranked joint 28th in the UK for Teaching Quality, placing it among the country's top 30 universities for teaching.
In The Guardian University Guide 2026, Bedfordshire rose 19 places and ranked 26th nationally for student satisfaction with teaching and feedback, with 88% of students reporting satisfaction with their teaching.
These results build on the University's strong performance in the National Student Survey 2025, where Bedfordshire ranked:
- 1st in the East of England for Learning Opportunities
- 2nd for Assessment and Feedback
- 2nd for Student Voice
- 3rd for Course Teaching
The University has also been recognised for its commitment to widening participation, ranking among the UK's leading institutions for supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation university students, mature learners and those from ethnic minority communities.
The latest Complete University Guide results reinforce Bedfordshire's growing reputation for delivering high-quality teaching, strong student outcomes and life-changing opportunities.
