Congratulations to Katie Higgins who’s been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Nurse title for her demonstration of commitment to patient care and nursing practice. 👏

Katie plays a fundamental role in the nursing projects team, specialising in hi-tech simulation-based learning, equipping the next generation of nursing students to identify and treat patients who have experienced domestic violence.

Let’s celebrate Katie’s continued passion and innovation for community nursing.

🎉 Stacy Procter, a Social Worker Degree Apprentice from Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council and The British Association of Social Workers student ambassador, organised and published an article in the Professional Social Work magazine.

Stacy showcases the 360 viewpoint of the Social Worker Degree Apprenticeship from an academic, employer and multiple apprentices perspective.
