May. While most students have already left for summer, it's still going on here at UA92 βοΈ
-2: A Christmas Wish Came True! - Last week, students Patrick and Alice cashed in their wish from our Christmas Wish campaign, which was to watch a Lancashire Cricket game. Not only did they get to watch a game, they also got to watch TWO, with pitch-side tickets, behind the scenes access to the Press Room, Lancs Radio Commentary room and even got to meet the iconic Lanky! π¦ The sun even made an appearance for the day π
-4: Moment To Paws - it's safe to say this was the best day at UA92 on record! Moment to Paws joined us on campus to give our staff and students a well-deserved chance to take a break and spend some time with a few four-legged friends, Karrot, Opie, Tilly and Sally! πΎπ Can confirm campus was a super zen place for the rest of the day π§ββοΈ
Dragon's Den @ EY - three of our Business students, Sabeena, Jack and Abdul were crowned winners of the Dragon's Den assessment as part of the EY co-delivered Entrepreneurship and Innovation module. Their winning concept. Sleep Sense, impressed judges with its innovative approach to improving sleep quality. The idea centred on an affordable, technology-enabled pillow designed to support a better night's sleep, combining comfort with smart functionality. Well done guys! π π
BUCS Award Winner! - huge congratulations to our Football and Futsal Development Officer, Chris George Smith, who has received the Outstanding Contribution to HE Football and Futsal award from British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) π To top it all off, UA92 is delighted to be retaining our threeβstar BUCS accreditation for the third year running βββ
-8: Football Fitness Federation Conference - we co-hosted the Football Fitness Federation Conference on campus - a fantastic two-day event bringing together professionals from across the football industry β½ Attendees from a wide range of football organisations came together to share insight, spark discussion and build connections. We also had UA92 students involved, gaining hands-on experience by supporting the event and capturing content across both days π₯
