As the largest academic society on campus, BA Econ Society has been around for years. Members joined, the founders graduated, a new committee took over - but one thing that’s never changed? At our society, we value our people. We’ve had our great university experiences, and we want the same for you! (minus the homesickness and seasonal sadness.) Economics umbrella - Accounting, Finance, Social Anthropology, Politics, Philosophy, whatever your degree is, there’s a place for you. We recognise that with such a diverse audience, comes the responsibility of hosting events that cater for everyone - which is why we’re always striving to offer more. We organise several social functions over the year to help you connect to like-minded people, we collaborate with the biggest firms in the country to support you after graduation, and we dedicate some of our events to charities supporting causes close to our hearts. During this stressful time, things are a lot more challenging than before. We want to make sure you know you’re not alone - and a sense of belonging to a community can be very important for wellbeing. So join our society - and enjoy all it has to offer!
