We loved welcoming Level 2 Health & Social Care students from West Notts College to the NTU Mansfield Hub today 💙

Students visited the Hub to explore routes into Nursing, taking part in an interactive session in our mock hospital. They practised taking observations from simulated patients, recording blood pressure, pulse and breathing rates, then monitoring changes using observation charts – just like they would in a real clinical setting.

Hedgehog Friendly Campus in action! 🦔

Yesterday, members of our Hedgehog Friendly Campus steering group rolled up their sleeves to tick off more actions on the road to Gold accreditation. Working throughout the day in the Forest School area, the team transformed the space to better support hedgehogs and other wildlife.

The star of the show? Our brand new bug hotel 🐞 — complete with a hidden hedgehog house at the base and a living roof! A huge thank you to everyone at Mansfield who donated pallets and natural materials to help bring this project to life. The team also rebuilt the log pile and enhanced the pond area 🐸
