🚀 A major international space mission launched today, and Open University experts are at the heart of it!

The SMILE (Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer) spacecraft will study how Earth’s magnetic field responds to solar wind and space weather. This research could help improve forecasting of solar storms that can disrupt satellites, GPS, communications and power grids.

Professor Clara Mancini will be talking in the Club Tent on both days to talk about her work in the Open University's Animal Computer Interaction Lab and the Dogosophy, her dog-centred design philosophy.

The team will also have a stand where you can find out more about the Dogosophy Button, a wireless device designed to help dogs interact with everyday technology. Come along and say Hi!
