Join the Leahurst Equine Hospital teams for three immersive days of equine ultrasonography and orthopaedics. These hands on sessions are designed to help you refine your diagnostic ultrasound skills and develop confidence in orthopaedic assessment and therapeutic techniques. With close guidance from recognised specialists, you’ll gain practical experience in investigating distal limb lameness and using ultrasound across a wide range of common medical and orthopaedic cases.

Join us at our Leahurst campus on Tuesday 7 July for a hands-on Surgical Skills Day: Perineal Hernia and Urethral Surgery for Urethral Obstruction.

Designed for general practitioners, this course will support vets looking to advance their small animal soft tissue surgery skills, improve patient outcomes, and broaden their surgical confidence.

Participants will also receive pre-course lectures, bringing the total CPD hours for the day to 10.

Join us for our one day HIF and Humeral Condylar Fractures Workshop 🦴 🐾

This CPD event will train vets to surgically manage humeral intracondylar fissures (HIF) and humeral condylar fractures (HCF). Procedural videos will be issued prior to the event, and the day itself focuses on maximising practical surgical exposure, using drybones and cadavers to ensure the specifics of implant placement are understood before being applied in a lifelike surgical context.
