Newcastle Emergency Medicine Society (NEMSOC) NEMSOC is a Newcastle University SU Society aimed at teaching, training and providing opportunities in Emergency Medicine for students

NEMSOC is Newcastle University SU society run by medical students, aimed at providing teaching, clinical skills and revision sessions and other educational experiences in Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine. We aim to offer high-quality education through our links with local and regional services and healthcare professionals. This year is set to be better than ever! We run theme

d nights every other MONDAY where you will work as a team to diagnose and manage emergencies! Themes will include:
- Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Gasto, Surgical and Neurological Emergencies
- Acute Psychiatry, Obstetric and Paediatric Emergencies
- Max/Fax and ENT, Environmental and Toxicological Emergencies

We will also be running additional trips and events throughout the year, stay tuned for further details…

Nominations open at 8am Tomorrow (16/03/26)

Its that time of year again when applications open for next years Committee! As you may already know, this year Committee Applications have changed. Executive committee roles (President, Secretary, Treasurer, Welfare Officer and Social Secretary) are being managed through NUSU directly. The other 7 roles will continue to be elected through the normal process. Please therefore make sure you read all the information on this post thoroughly to make sure your application is submitted to the correct place.

We will share more information regarding how to vote closer to the the time.
