📚🏃‍♂️🔬 An Incredible Day at Teesside University! 🔬🏃‍♀️📚

Today, our 1st year Sport and Exercise Science students had the fantastic opportunity to visit Teesside University for an inspiring and interactive experience.

The day was packed with hands-on sessions that brought sport and exercise science to life. Students explored the university’s impressive facilities and took part in activities including nutrition smoothie making, rehabilitation and recovery workshops, and the exciting chance to experience heat and altitude training chambers used to support elite athletic performance.

It was a brilliant opportunity for our students to gain valuable insight into university life, explore future career pathways and see first hand how science is applied within sport, health and performance environments.

A huge thank you to everyone at Teesside University for their warm welcome, expertise, and enthusiasm throughout the day. The experiences provided were engaging, informative and truly inspiring for our students 🙌🏽

The next cohort of DiSE Boxing students took part in our May Half Term taster session. This talented group of boxers showcased their skills and brought great energy into the session 🥊.

Congratulations to our Athletics Academy student, Skye, who has been called up to represent Scotland in 2 different events.

Skye will compete in the Javelin and Shot Put at Loughborough on 31st May.

Our Personal Training and Health and Fitness students have jetted off to Lanzarote for 5 nights to experience fitness abroad and explore options of working in the fitness industry.
So far our lovely students have tried spinning, Les Mills Dance and Body Pump, Lee took the lads on a run 5k along the seafront while Anna and the girls had a Zumba masterclass.
The gym has a fantastic outdoor functional fitness area which they have all worked out in. And just a little time to catch a few rays in between ☀️💪🏽🏃‍♀️
