Hi everyone,

We are still looking for anybody who would like to be on committee for Coast 2 Coast next year!

We really don't want the society to fold for the next academic year just because we can't fill the roles on the committee so if you've enjoyed being part of the society this year, even without the main C2C ride, please consider putting yourself forward! This year's committee will try their best to offer you as much support as possible next year as and when you need it!

Hi Everyone,

We are looking to hold our AGM at some point during the last week of May to choose the C2C committee for next year. This will obviously take a different format to normal given current circumstances so will take place using Zoom or similar.

In the meantime, if you are interested in being on committee for C2C next year, get in touch with us via this page or contact one of the current committee directly.

We understand that due to the cancellation of this year's ride, some of you might be apprehensive about joining the committee for next year but most of this year's committee will still be around next year to offer you guidance and a helping hand if needed so please still put your name forward!

We need a minimum of 3 committee members (President, Treasurer, secretary) but we can have more than that if there's enough interest!

Hi all, we are sorry to say we are going to have to cancel the weekend.

We're sure this won't come as a shock to you but following SU and goverment advice we are unable to continue. 😭

We will be refunding everyone who has bought tickets, and are just talking to the SU about how to do this. We'll get in touch with you when we know more.

We are also cancelling this weeks spin session and ride.

We wanted to congratulate you all on how well you have progressed in training this year! Its been great to train with you all. Guidance currently says you can exercise outside so keep on it! Keep pedalling and see you next year!

Sorry for the late post! Ride is on tomorrow! 9am outside baidley-clark building. Remember a helmet spare inner, water and money for the cafe! Ride will be a relatively flat route, about 80km/50miles.

C2C TICKET REMINDER.

Ticket deadline in Sunday so get in there quick- there are only a limited number!
They are available on our page on the NUSU website:

They are £40 and this includes everything for the weekend, food, accommodation, travel, mechanics etc.

Once you’ve bought your ticket, you’ll need to set up your fundraising page on Virgin Giving. If you haven’t done this before there is a guide for you below with all the information that you’ll need. Our fundraising target is £100 per rider, but obviously the more the better!

Meet outside the Baddiley-Clark Building at 9am. Remember drink, spare inner tube, helmet, money for the cafe stop etc!

As the C2C weekend is getting quite close now, I figured we’d go out south of the river for a slightly more hilly 40 mile ride!
