Today was Gretel’s last day with us as a START UP Adviser 🥲😭

We’re going to miss her loads and we know lots of you will too…

But we’re also super happy for her, and know she’s going to be AMAZING in her new role as Accelerator and Investment Manager at the Big Issue Invest 🤩

This is definitely not the last we’ll see of her (phew).

A message from Gretel: “It was sad to say goodbye as I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the most inspiring students and recent grads, I will miss my colleagues a lot, and I deeply appreciate everyone’s support, kindness and friendship throughout the years.”

Shout out to for the incredible artwork commission to mark Gretel’s 6 years with us in the most special way 🥰

Chris Dawson co-founded One Utility Bill - an innovative tech platform to make shared utility payments easier for tenants and letting agents - with the support of a START UP Foundership.

One Utility Bill goes from strength to strength with Chris and co-founder Dale Knight securing numerous innovation awards and significant levels of investment. They currently have 75 employees and over 21,000 customers nationwide.

Chris said: "START UP's network and support through the​ START UP Founderships programme was​ critical to developing the first iterations of our​ service. It’s brilliant that there is such support​ for students and graduates to access".
