We are a student-led society promoting Latin American, Ballroom and Salsa dancing. Through our renowned coaches we provide lessons for all abilities, from absolute beginners right up to advanced dancers. Our courses of lessons run throughout the Autumn and Spring semesters with free practices in between.

Last month we travelled to Blackpool for the annual Inter Varsity Dance Competition at the Winter Gardens!

Congratulations to all of our competitors especially our amazing beginners who achieved fantastic results, we are all so proud of you!!

We also placed 9th in Team Match Division 2, our highest placing since 2023- congratulations to Sam & Finia (Quickstep) and Sarah & Alyssa (Jive), who ranked 1st in the play-off final in their respective dances!

🌟PUB SOCIAL🌟

we’ll be heading to the pub this monday for a fun evening to relax post-blackpool!

social dance will be on at the usual time for anyone that would like to come and dance or practice for a bit and then we’ll head to the pub from there!

it would be lovely to see as many of you as possible there!

Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Today we appreciate all the women who contribute to our society, thank you for all of the lessons, practices, socials and competitions attended- the society wouldn’t be the same without you!

Elections for next year’s committee are now live!

Nominations are open now through to 4pm on Friday 6th March.
Voting will be open next week, we will post reminders when it is open and keep reminding people to vote throughout the week!

We have merch!!

Items will need to be purchased through our student union page, and we will share an update when they are available to purchase so you have a bit of time to think and decide what you would like!

Deadline for orders is 10pm on Thursday 12th February, and we’d love to have as many people getting some merch to rep the society as possible!
