Christiansen (Cornell University, Aarhus University and Haskins Labs) and Professor Nick Chater (University of Warwick). This promises to be a fascinating start to the new academic year! Bank Holiday study plans? On Monday 31 August only the 24/7 Study Zones at Clifton and Brackenhurst will be open. Clifton is just a short tram or bus ride from the city centre.

Don’t forget that study materials and academic support resources are available online via the ASK Hub, and electronic resources can be accessed via Library OneSearch.

A rare visitor to the Walled Garden at Brackenhurst 🦋✨

There were quite a few Hummingbird Hawk-moths spotted among the flowers last week. Despite their name, they're actually moths, and they're incredibly fast, hovering and darting from flower to flower like tiny hummingbirds.

Capturing a clear photo was no easy task, but our Library Legend Rosemary managed it 📸

Boots Library will be closed this Thursday 13 August as we host Clearing. But don't worry, Your Library is moving to the Dryden Centre on Dryden Street for the day.

Visit our pop-up service at Dryden (8:30am-7pm) for most of your usual library services including: study spaces, appointments, IT support, and access to physical materials through our fetch-and-carry service.

Normal service resumes on Friday. We thank you for your understanding 📚✨
