Our Junior Research Fellows are a vital part of Kellogg's academic community, bringing together expertise from across the sciences, social sciences and humanities. This showcase offers a unique opportunity to discover the innovative research being undertaken by some of Oxford's early career researchers and to explore the questions, methods and ideas that drive their work.
This term's presentations include:
🔬 Dr Chitra Joshi (Department of Biochemistry) on the molecular transport systems that keep our bodies functioning and how understanding them could improve drug delivery and treatment.
🤖 Dr Xiao Gu (University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science) on developing AI models that can interpret the body's physiological signals to support earlier detection of health risks.
🦟 Dr Jonathan Cook (Jenner Institute) on the century-long quest to develop an effective malaria vaccine and the latest breakthroughs emerging from Oxford research.
