Available positions include working as a director on the marketing team, the speakers team, the events team, the external relations team, the technology and design team, the sponsorship team, the conference team, the trips and special projects teams or in a specific division. Other roles include Secretary, Vice Presidents and Executive positions (including heads of industry roles). WE WOULD ALSO WELCOME PEOPLE WITH GRAPHIC DESIGN, PHOTOSHOP, VIDEO EDITING OR HELPFUL IT/DEVELOPMENT SKILLS! WE ARE ALSO LOOKING TO HIRE ACCESS, DIVERSITY & OUTREACH OFFICERS or those interested in working on our Diversity Speaker Series. You can also apply to be on the general committee or to be a college representative - these positions are ideal for current first year and second year students and those looking to get more actively involved with the society in the future. We are especially looking for those keen to rise up to executive positions (such as Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and eventually President) quickly. We are also looking to grow our engagement with graduate students and bridge the undergrad-grad divide (whether you are here on a one year course or longer). The Guild always has been and remains a meritocracy - there is nothing stopping you from rising to the top extremely quickly, provided you are willing to put the work in and show your commitment! 💪
