Our next Undergraduate Open Day is on 18 September. You don't need to book for any of the sessions, just come along to meet our current students and college tutors, explore our grounds, and see whether Wadham and Oxford feel right for you. Our admissions team will be on hand to answer your questions throughout the day.
College tours will take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
Our Tutor for Admissions's talk on applying to Oxford is 12.45pm - 1.10pm.
Students can meet our tutors 1.15 - 2pm. There is an informal Q&A session for parents, guardians and teachers at the same time.
Demonstration interviews are from 2.10pm - 3pm.
We'll be running a session on writing a personal statement from 3.10pm - 3.40pm.

On this day in history, 3 September 1555, Nicholas Wadham, a member of an ancient Somerset family, and Dorothy Petre, daughter of Sir William Petre, Principal Secretary to King Henry VIII, were married. When Nicholas died in 1609, he left his fortune to endow a college at Oxford. Dorothy, his 75-year old widow, took forward his wishes and the College was founded in 1610. Nicholas and Dorothy still look over Wadham's Front Quad and Dining Hall today.

The Schwarzman Centre Cultural Programme presents a performance of MAN WOMAN: A Butoh Fairy Tale by Vangeline on September 16 at 7pm. MAN WOMAN is a visually striking new dance performance by New York-based choreographer and performer and our new Associate Fellow, Vangeline. Inspired by Eikoh Hosoe's famous Man and Woman photo series featuring Butoh pioneers Tatsumi Hijikata and Motofuji, the performance reimagines these celebrated images through a contemporary feminist lens.
Butoh is a Japanese avant-garde dance form known for its highly expressive movement exploring transformation, identity and the body's ability to cross boundaries. Drawing on Hosoe's photographs as inspiration, MAN WOMAN combines Vangeline's distinctive movement language with costumes by visionary q***r artist Machine Dazzle and a richly textured electro-acoustic score by Ray Barragan-Sweeten.

We were thrilled to host an incredible cohort of sharp, curious, and eager minds over the last week for our Summer School!

Across three separate subject tracks - Modern Languages, Classics, and Climate Change - this free residential provided a taste of what studying at Wadham/Oxford is like.
