FREE PROSTATE CANCER TESTING: Fri 27 and Sat 28 March, Linwood
Our friends at The Malcolm Group are supporting The Scottish Prostate Cancer Initiative – a new project which aims to improve diagnosis of prostate cancer and gather important data to shape future screening and treatment. Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men in Scotland. As part of this new Initiative, any man over the age of 40 is being encouraged to take part in a free prostate screening.
If you wish to benefit from this opportunity, you are being invited to take a free PSA test at The Donald Malcolm Heritage Centre, 2 Burnbrae Drive, Linwood, PA3 3BU on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March.
On the day of your appointment a simple blood sample will be taken from you by the independent medical testing team on site during a session that will last less than 10 minutes. There is no physical examination involved. The results of the PSA test will be sent directly and in confidence to you by email within a few days.
