We love this!!

Falmouth University has received glowing feedback in a worldwide survey of international students. The International Student Barometer is the world’s largest survey of international students, with 4.3 million respondents across 40 different countries. Its annual results provide universities with detailed insight across many different areas, from their arrival at university to quality of learning, lecturers, facilities and more.

Falmouth scored particularly well on Overall Happiness in this year’s ISB report, with 90.5%* of respondents saying they are enjoying their time here.
The survey also shows 98% approval for parts of the onboarding and enrolment process – something that’s a key concern for students arriving to the UK for their studies. Learn more about Falmouth’s results here:

A love letter to Cornwall in April.

This place has a way of making even a library day feel like a movie. The flowers are out, the days are getting longer, and honestly? We’re just happy to be here.

Current mood: grateful.

We at Falmouth University really do it for real.

A great example of collaborative learning in action on an industry brief currently underway at Cornwall Business School is the work of second- and third-year students on three live briefs, sharing skills, perspectives, and responsibility, just as they would in a professional consultancy setting, working for Trevince Gardens.

From this week's field trip to the gardens, the students received on-site insight on research, analysis, and strategic thinking, highlighting the value of cross-year collaboration in developing confident, evidence-led ideas for real organisations.

We are always looking for such live briefs from the industry. Please reach out to us should you want the student perspective guided by our experienced lecturers on any areas of your business.

January has been something! A little vibe check before the month ends, remembering the four storms, sunny days, windy mornings, floods, and sky full of northern lights - as we spent our first month of 2026 in Cornwall.

This week, our 3rd year business and digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and management students had a field trip.

Thanks to our gracious hosts, Queen's award winner and B Corp certified St Eval and a fantastic local brewery The Bearded Brewery - our students had the opportunity to learn how the business is managed, how the operations and innovation management look like in action, and how to market it all.

A spokesperson from St Eval Candles said "An engaged and enthusiastic group asking many interesting and useful questions"

A student commented "2 very differently businesses run very differently but still both have a clear aim".
