We are proud to promote Platfform and their upcoming event for young people and professionals who work with them, Wonderfest 2022! This is a great opportunity for USW Psychology students to gain insight into an organisation that focuses on the wellbeing of young people. Here's what you can expect:
Saturday 16 July
Saturday is the FREE online wellbeing day for young people and parents/carers.
The day will explore the following:
How to navigate social media safely from a digital wellbeing expert
Finding out about Papyrus, the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of su***de, and the helpline they operate.
‘Worth-it’ who promote positive wellbeing in young people and this workshop will show how positive communication can help family relationships flourish.
Finding out about Meic – who they are and what support they can offer to young people.
How you can support a young person who is questioning their gender identity.

Sunday 17 July
On Sunday, we have a pop-up mini festival in the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening:
Skateboarding - practical workshops so you can have a go
Body positivity installation and art exhibition
Forest school – learn how to survive in the wild
Give circus skills a go!
Creative facepainting
Music and sport pop ups
Craft activities, things to buy and so much more including ALPACAS!
(if you have a small business, or know another young person with a small business, we can offer you a free stall to sell things on the day!)
