Absolutely amazing news… we’re beyond excited to announce that Matrescence has been selected for Worcester International Film Festival! 🥹✨

This marks our second British Independent Film Awards-qualifying festival selection, which means so much to our whole team after the journey this film has been on.

From a university project about a subject that is so often left unspoken, to sharing the film with audiences and hearing such personal responses, we’re incredibly grateful that Matrescence continues to find its way to people.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the film so far. We can’t wait to share it with Worcester Film Festival! 🩵🍼

What a fantastic evening celebrating the incredible work of BA Film Production I University of Portsmouth and from University of Portsmouth Creative Degrees at BFI, London South Bank.

A huge thank you to our amazingly loyal alumni, industry guests, graduating students, and dedicated staff for making it such a memorable celebration of a great year. The creativity, maturity, and sophistication on display were truly impressive.
