Welcome back to UTC Portsmouth!

It’s fantastic to welcome back our returning students as they begin Year 11 and Year 13, and a very warm welcome to all our new students joining us for Year 10 and Year 12.

The college is full, lessons are well underway, and there’s already plenty of STEM-focused learning taking place across UTC Portsmouth.

It’s also been great to welcome our students into our refreshed atrium, with greater capacity and a whole new look, creating an even better space for students to learn, collaborate and connect.

A reminder of our start of term arrangements for Wednesday 2 September.

🔹Year 11 and Year 13
Students should arrive at college as usual, ready for lessons at their normal start time.

🔹Year 12 – staggered arrival
Surnames A–H: 9:00am
Surnames I–Z: 9:30am

🔹Year 10 – staggered arrival
Surnames A–K: 10:30am
Surnames L–Z: 11:00am

Please make sure you check your allocated arrival time before travelling to college.

We have a limited number of spaces available. Visit the college before 4pm today to complete your enrolment in person, or log in to your Applicaa account to enrol online.

If you have not quite met the entry requirements, please still come in and speak to us. We can discuss your options and help you explore the courses available to you.

If you’re joining UTC Portsmouth this September, you can enrol with us at the college until 4pm today, or complete your enrolment online via Applicaa.

Sixth Form enrolment takes place tomorrow, Thursday 20 August, in Bytes and Nibbles, our Sixth Form cafe area.

All applicants have been emailed with full details about their enrolment.

If you are unable to enrol in person, you will be able to complete your enrolment online via Applicaa, using the same portal you used when you originally applied.

We look forward to welcoming our new Sixth Form students tomorrow!

GCSE Results Day | Thursday 20 August

Results Day is almost here for our Year 11 students collecting their GCSE and Level 2 results.

đź“Ť Where?
Results can be collected from the Sports Hall at UTC Portsmouth. Please enter via the Community Entrance by the Sports Hall.

đź•Ł When?
Results will be available to collect between 8:30am and 10:30am.

Students will receive their results in a sealed envelope from our staff team, with support and advice available throughout the morning. Those joining us for Sixth Form will then head to the atrium to begin enrolment.

Results Day marks an important milestone and a chance to recognise all the hard work, commitment and progress our students have made.

Whether you’re continuing with us for Sixth Form or moving on to your next step, we’re proud of everything you’ve achieved and look forward to seeing where your journey takes you next.

What comes after UTC Portsmouth?

Following A Level Results Day, some of our students shared what first brought them to UTC Portsmouth, where they are heading next and the key lessons they will take with them.

Their next steps include a fantastic mix of university degrees and apprenticeships, opening the door to new opportunities in STEM and beyond.

We are incredibly proud to see where their journeys take them next.
