You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. We've thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many of you and being part of your journey, from your Doctoral College induction, to attending our training sessions and possibly even hosting your viva in our viva room. A week ago today we were in full swing at this year’s record-breaking Festival of Doctoral Research. 181 of you turned out on a very hot day to celebrate the doctoral research that is happening at the University of Portsmouth.

We had research presentations, competitions, BBQ lunch, networking, prize giving, drinks reception, professors, a saxophonist and more!
