⚽️🏉 Would you know what to do if a player suffered a concussion during a match?

This week, sports staff at explored exactly that through a concussion cpd training session delivered by our Sports Medicine academics!

From learning how to identify concussion to supporting athlete safety through hands-on learning, participants developed the skills and confidence to recognise the signs and respond appropriately when it matters most.

Wynona is gaining hands-on experience at The Foxton Centre in Preston, supporting people experiencing homelessness and crisis while studying for her MA Social Work.

Drawing on both her academic knowledge and lived experience of homelessness, she’s already helping others while building the skills and confidence she’ll need for a career in social work.
