Geology students spent two days in the Lake District exploring the geology of Borrowdale and Blencathra. Investigating igneous and metamorphic rocks, they used field observations to understand the area's geological history and the continental collisions that formed Pangea. Congratulations to the staff and students who took part in the AJ Bell Great Manchester 10K run last Sunday. Together, they raised an incredible £1,622 for Springhill Hospice. This is a wonderful example of our college community coming together to support an important local cause. Thank you to everyone who ran, donated and cheered our participants on.
