To help people gain the skills they need to get into work and build their future.

Back in 1982, that meant hands-on training in areas like welding, motor vehicle maintenance and plumbing, supporting people into employment at a time when it was needed most.

As the world of work evolved, so did we.

From expanding into business and administration training, to supporting the growth of apprenticeships across the UK, weโ€™ve continued to adapt to meet the needs of both learners and employers.

More recently, that has included expanding into Data and Business Analytics, helping organisations build the skills they need to make better decisions in an increasingly data-driven world.

But what hasnโ€™t changed is why we do it. That sense of purpose is also reflected in where we work.

Our Rugby head office was once a school, originally built in the 1800s to educate local children. Over time, it fell out of use.

In 2007, it was carefully restored and brought back to life by our CEO, John Herman, giving it a new purpose while keeping its history very much part of the story.

Itโ€™s a building that has always been about learning and opportunity, just in different ways over time.

Over the years, weโ€™ve supported tens of thousands of people to gain new skills, grow in confidence, and progress in their careers.

And over 40 years on, weโ€™re still focused on the same goal. Creating opportunities through skills that make a difference.
