Last week, Ruby, a first-year Film Production student, attended the Film Awards 2026 at our MediaCity campus 🎬✨
 
The awards celebrate the incredible achievements of students across our BA (Hons) Film Production, BA (Hons) Film Studies, and MA Film Production courses. From Outstanding Final Film to Outstanding Dissertation, there was plenty to celebrate on the night 🏆
 
A huge congratulations to all of our winners and runners-up. The films showcased were a testament to the creativity, talent, and hard work of our students. You should all be incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved this year and throughout your time at university 🎥🍿

Last Thursday was the launch of our Degree Show 26 ✨
 
What an incredible evening celebrating the outstanding work created by our talented SAMCT students. Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed the night and left feeling inspired.

Last night was the annual Journalism Awards at SAMCT, and for the first time ever the ceremony was held at the home of journalism at our Media City Campus 🎤✨

14 awards were presented to some incredibly talented students with bright and exciting futures in journalism. From year group awards to the AJ Bell Award, the evening was a true celebration of hard work, creativity, and passion 🎙️💪

A huge well done to all the nominees and congratulations to all our winners 🏆 We can’t wait to see where your journalism journey takes you next👀
