🚀 Our Year 2 IT students and Year 1 T Level Cyber students had a fantastic visit to Sheffield Hallam University this week.

From learning about student life and the university application process to getting hands-on in exciting Computing and Games Programming masterclasses, it was a day packed with inspiration and opportunities.

A brilliant experience that has given our students a real insight into their future pathways.

🔎⚖️ WHODUNNIT? A MURDER MYSTERY IN LAW! 🕵️‍♀️🔪

Our Year 2 Law students became detectives for the lesson as their Law teacher, Leah, brought mystery, excitement and a little murder into the classroom! 🕵️‍♂️🔍
Students were challenged to solve a murder mystery, examining crime scene stills, analysing clues and piecing together evidence to uncover the truth.

💡 Using their critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, students worked to answer the ultimate question…

🔎 WHODUNNIT? WHO COMMITTED THE MURDER? 👀
A fantastic, interactive way to bring Law to life and put those investigative skills to the test!
👏 Well done to our budding legal detectives, and a big thank you to Leah for making learning so engaging!

💻🔐 CYBERSECURITY IN ACTION – LEARNING BEYOND THE SCREEN! 🚀
Our Year 1 T Level Digital Cybersecurity students were fully engaged in a collaborative planning session, prioritising and sequencing tasks in preparation for creating their Gantt charts! 📊

🧠 Sometimes the best learning happens when we step away from our screens! We love making use of our wipeable desks to bring planning ideas to life! ✍️💡

👏 Offline brain breaks, active learning and mixing up teaching approaches encourage students to think creatively, collaborate and learn from one another.
