University of Southampton Lifelong Learning

University of Southampton Lifelong Learning Why stop learning? Our Lifelong Learning opportunities are for everyone. We pride ourselves on making our teaching both exciting and accessible.

We offer a range of weekly evening courses, one day cultural events and lunchtime activities in Archaeology, English, Film, History, Jewish Studies, Modern Languages, Music and Philosophy at the University of Southampton. Lifelong Learning at the University of Southampton has recently expanded its activities and subject areas to build on our aim of providing positive and engaging learning activiti

es and experiences for the wider community. The people on our programme are from a wide variety of backgrounds looking to learn and be inspired by their chosen subjects, meet new people or improve their job prospects. Some people even go on to take degrees at the University, but many take our courses purely because they are interested in the subject and want to discuss new ideas. Many courses are a reflection of the research expertise and culture of the University, which gives you access to the latest developments and innovative thinking on the subjects that you study. We hope that you will find the courses and events that are on offer of interest, and we look forward to welcoming you to Lifelong Learning at the University of Southampton.
