As part of the Spring Careers Fairs and Events programme, the department are running a physics event called ‘What Can I do with my Physics Degree’! Employers and alumni who themselves did a physics degree will be discussing the different opportunities and career options available to those taking a physics degree. This event will only be open to those studying physics, and students are free to ask questions or just listen to questions from others if they prefer. Refreshments will be provided!

Hello Physoc! The QUIRK+ tickets are out!
(JUST FOR ATTENDING/LISTENING)

KING’S: https://QuirkPlusAtKings.eventbrite.co.uk
CAMBRIDGE: https://QUIRKPlusAtCambridge.eventbrite.co.uk

*Note: A ticket for the King’s part won’t be valid for Cambridge, and vice versa. You have to get both to be able to attend both.*

What is QUIRK+?

Essentially, it’s a day of talks by students, for an audience of students, organised by students.

Ever wanted to learn about black holes? Philosophy of physics? The physics of coffee?! You can learn about all of that, and much, much more. Lunch is also provided for free!

This year we’ve expanded to Surrey, Southampton, Bath, Oxford and Cambridge, as well as EPFL and TUM. We’ve even spread it to two days, due to sheer popularity. There’s more information on the links. Hope to see you there!
