Healing Histories: An Exhibition of Medical Marvels and Curative Curiosities, Central Library, Monday 12th December, 10am-3pm.

Healing Histories is a pop-up exhibition by MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies students exploring the curious past of health and medicine, celebrating discoveries, exploring the unappreciated, and highlighting objects that tell our stories. The exhibition takes visitors through six themes, from Medical Milestones to Healthcare At Home.

We visited The Atkinson, where we had the opportunity to talk with its Emma Anderson (Director) and Jane Brown (Gallery Manager) about the organisation's structure, spaces, funding, programmes and audiences; and indeed about how the make art public!
