On Tuesday, a new chapter for aviation students at SRC officially began!✈️

We were delighted to hold a launch event for our brand-new mock aircraft and show off our brilliant training facilities, celebrating with local employers, aviation training providers who have provided valuable sessions for our students, and friends of the college.

Our student ambassadors were proud to share with guests about their experience on the course so far and their excitement for starting their aviation career with the help of the opportunities that their tutors send their way.

Our free* Spectator Safety Academy includes just that, and enables you to achieve a Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification, emergency first aid and more.

🗨️"We help students secure their work placements and interactions with employers, holistically preparing them for the world of work! We support the students throughout their placements with regular check ins and make connections with employers."

🗨️"We have built relationships with over 250 employers in the local area, and have strong connections with the NHS, Stockton Borough Council, many local care homes, Willmott Dixon, Community Campus, Keepmoat Homes and Lionheart Marketing to name but a few, we have lots more exciting partnerships in the pipeline!"

The learning in these Bespoke Employer Led Programmes (BELPs) is applicable to a large variety of sectors from Further Education (FE) to apprenticeships, engineering, hospitality and healthcare with a focus on quality assurance and assessment practices.

Training can be delivered online, at your workplace or at Stockton Riverside College, and tailored to the bespoke needs of your organisation.

We are so proud of everything our T Level students have achieved. Here's a throwback to results day, where some of our T Level students were interviewed live on BBC Radio Tees to speak about their experience at college, their industry placements and what's next for them!

💸Haroon achieved a Merit in the T Level Management and Administration (Business), and secured an apprenticeship with Blue Skies Property Investment.
🧸Evie got a Distinction in the T Level Education and Early Years, she has gone to Sunderland University to study Primary Education.
🪁Jazmin achieved a Merit in the T Level Education and Early Years, she secured a job with her T Level work placement employer, The Barn Childcare, and hopes to do some further training in SEND in children.
🩹Mary, who studied the T Level Health, achieved a Merit and hopes to become an Occupational Therapist in the future.
