Step Up to Staffordshire University is aimed at anyone over 18 years who is thinking about undergraduate or postgraduate study who may be unsure about where to start or what is involved. Both the Step Up to HE and Step Up to Masters programmes are designed to build individual confidence and develop the academic skills needed for university level study. In addition, learners are able to sample a va

riety of courses available and obtain individual and tailored support and guidance to inform decisions about future career goals and learning programmes at Staffordshire University. Many learners who complete either our Step Up to HE or the Step Up to Masters programme progress onto a wide range of awards at foundation, degree and even postgraduate level.

Ever thought about studying for a degree - but don’t have the qualifications or confidence to take that first step? Our free 10-week Step Up to HE programme is designed for you. Whether you want to retrain for a new career. Pursue a passion. Or, return to education after a break. We’ll help you build the skills, confidence and direction to succeed.

Once you complete the programme, you’ll earn a qualification and the opportunity to progress onto a foundation or degree-level course at the University of Staffordshire.
