🏐📣VOLUNTEER COACH OPPORTUNITY📣🏐
As Houghton Netball Club continues to grow, we are looking for a committed volunteer from within our club community to join our coaching team.
This opportunity is open to existing members of the club, parents/carers, current volunteers, or individuals who already have a connection to Houghton Netball Club and are passionate about supporting the development of our players.
You do not need extensive netball experience or any previous coaching qualifications. A basic understanding of the game, a willingness to learn, and a genuine commitment to helping our players develop are far more important.
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable and committed
Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Passionate about supporting young people
Keen to develop their knowledge of netball
Interested in helping shape the future of our club
This is a fully voluntary role, and all coaching support provided to the club is on a volunteer basis.
To support your development, Houghton Netball Club will fund your England Netball Level 1 Coaching Qualification and provide ongoing mentoring and support throughout your coaching journey. Subject to future club needs and commitment, there may also be opportunities for further development, including support towards a Level 2 qualification.
Availability
We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to:
Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (essential)
Thursday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (preferred but not essential)
Supporting teams at league fixtures on Saturdays where possible (preferred but not essential, as committee members will always be present)

As the club will be investing in your development and qualifications, we ask that applicants are willing to make a long-term commitment to supporting Houghton Netball Club and helping our players thrive.
