Congratulations to our Computing and Engineering students on a successful Final Project Exhibition 2026🙌

Employers met final-year students and explored innovative projects, highlighting our strong industry engagement at UWTSD.

Students across our Mechanical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering and Applied Computing degrees have gone on to secure opportunities with organisations including Aston Martin Formula One Team, Caterpillar, SNG Barratt, ATC and SHIPMAX.

Students and staff from UWTSD’s Motorcycle Engineering programme have helped secure four new British records at Pendine Sands using the Arc Vector electric motorcycle 🏍️⚡

The record-breaking machine was created by UWTSD graduate Mark Truman, founder of Arc, whose innovative work in electric motorcycle engineering has gained international attention.

Our students gained hands-on industry experience at the forefront of motorsport and EV technology.

Practical learning at its best!🤩

Our Archaeology students went on an excavation last week to Talsarn, looking for ancient artefacts and hoping to gain some insight from the Neolithic Age.

This was a great way for students to put what they’ve learned in the classroom to work, and to see some archaeological evidence first-hand.
