The devastation caused by the flash floods and mudslides in the border region between Nepal and Tibet is heartbreaking.

As we learn more about the scale of this tragedy, our thoughts are with the families, communities and emergency responders facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.

Nepal is an important part of the Navitas community. Many of our students, staff and agent partners have deep personal and family connections to the country, and we know that many are concerned for the safety and wellbeing of loved ones in the affected areas. We are staying in close contact with our colleagues in Nepal and providing support to students who may be impacted by these events.

At a time like this, we are reminded that our global community is connected not only through education, but through the relationships and shared experiences that bring us together across borders.

We stand with our students, colleagues, partners and all those affected, and hold the people of Nepal in our thoughts as communities begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding.
