👋 Welcome to our newest students!

Our first intake of AS students from Brazil and China has completed enrolment and begun lessons, kicking off another exciting year at the college.

Our A2 students will also be arriving soon, ready to start lessons on Monday, along with our Freshers' Fair.

🏫 We've welcomed our first visitors to our newly renovated campus!

It was a pleasure to welcome back former students Eden and Hank, who visited the team and shared updates on their impressive academic journeys.

Eden went on to study BSc Economics at the University of Manchester, where he graduated in the top 0.5% of the Faculty of Humanities, before progressing to the London School of Economics (LSE) to study MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics. Following his studies, Eden is hoping to pursue a research position at the University of Cambridge.

Hank studied BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics, before continuing his academic journey at Imperial College London, completing an MSt in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management. In fact, he finished his final exams just two days ago!

We're incredibly proud of all they have achieved and were delighted to welcome them back to campus ⭐

Congratulations to our international students receiving their AS and A2 grades today ⭐️

We now have students who can accept offers to the University of Cambridge, University College London, University of Warwick, University of Bath and more top universities! 🧑‍🏫

We were delighted to welcome Wenzhou Foreign Language Senior High School back for another Summer School Programme! 🇨🇳 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Students experienced A Level classes at our Gorseinon Campus, taking part in Science, Art and Humanities taster sessions, and visited Tycoch and Sketty Hall for forensic science, organ dissection, and English language classes 🔬💡

Weekend trips to Manchester and Birmingham gave students a taste of university life in the UK, while a visit to Swansea University's Egypt Centre included an introduction to ancient Egyptian history and mummification.

Joining us during a heatwave, 🌞 they had the picturesque views of Rhossili and Worms Head in all its glory.

The programme concluded with a farewell lunch and certificate presentation at Sketty Hall 🎓

As Nisha had to travel home before the Gower College Swansea Annual Student Awards 2026, we were delighted to present her award and prize money early for International Student of the Year 2026 🎉

Echoing the words of Emma Smith, Academic Enrichment Co-ordinator, this honour couldn’t have gone to a more deserving student. Nisha joins a truly outstanding group of talented award winners.
