Students and staff at The SPACE are celebrating a particularly outstanding set of outcomes, paving the way for exciting and diverse progression routes.

In the Level 3 University Arts London Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts, a creative qualification studied by all students at The SPACE, 100% passed, 98% achieved a merit or higher and 72% scored the top distinction grade (which is equivalent to 3 A*s at A-Level).

In the Extended Project Qualification, 100% achieved a B or higher, 88% scored an A or higher and 65% scored an A*. This qualification sees the learners self-assign a question and explore the outcomes through a showcase performance and 3000 word portfolio.

The students’ experience at The SPACE opens up exciting progression routes including places in drama schools such as Italia Conti, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Stella Mann Academy and LAMDA and universities such as Chichester and Bath Spa. Courses vary from musical theatre, acting, dance, production, film making and fashion.

Course Director David Duthie said “We’re delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional achievements, continuing to build on our success year after year. The dedication and creativity of our students, supported by our passionate staff and a truly student‑centred curriculum, have once again delivered outstanding outcomes!”

The team at The SPACE are preparing to welcome a new cohort and deliver an exciting range of diverse theatrical productions in 2026 and 2027.
