New courses Avaliable;

Complementary Therapies Diploma has all the holistic treatments of Body Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Healthy Eating all under one level 3 qualification, so you only need take out x1 24+ student loan! You will gain so much from this new two day course to become a true holistic therapist.

Theatrical, Media and fashion Make- up with hair Diploma Level 3 is an essential qualification for the potential make-up artist wishing to get into photographic or media styling. We are also adding two units of airbrush make up application along with camouflage techniques to make you a very employable, professional multi skilled make-up artist. Both these courses are available on line to enrol early to ensure you place on the course. Coming soon….HND Beauty and Hair Management Course with BTEC at levels 4and level 5 for emerging technological trends in commercial anti-ageing treatments. Soon to be announced.

There are two routes to enrolling on our courses. Some courses will require you to attend an interview or assessment prior to enrolment and others will require you to complete and return an enrolment form. The necessary route will be indicated on your chosen course outline, where you will find a link to either the enrolment card or application form (for interview/assessment). Application forms can be completed and returned to us online. Alternatively please contact Reception for the relevant form, which once completed in full, can be returned to us at the following address:

On receipt of your application form you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient time for interview/assessment. If your chosen course does not require an interview you are able to enrol over the telephone by contacting our Registry department on 01962 889547 (between 9:15-16:00), you can post (address below) or fax: 01962 889540 a completed enrolment form back to us, or call in to enrol in person. You are also able to enrol onto your chosen course online however currently you are unable to pay via the online service. Please note that if you do enrol onnline your place will not be secured until you contact our Registry Department on 01962 889547 to pay your fees.

The enrolment card can be downloaded here (see right hand link). You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the document. Please ensure your signature is on the enrolment card and return it along with a cheque or credit/debit card details for the course fee, including any exams and/or materials fees.

After receiving payment of the fees we will send you a receipt and a course outline. The Student Handbook (Adults) containing information about our College policies and procedures, site maps and frequently asked questions is available via the Student Zone on our website. Please contact Reception if you would like to receive a copy of the brochure in a different format.

Important:
You are advised to enrol onto your chosen course as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Telephone and face to face enrolments will naturally have priority over any form of written enrolment e.g. postal & emailed enrolments, or an enrolment card left at reception. You will receive confirmation of your place by post. Please do not turn up to the class if you have not received confirmation of your place, as there may be a waiting list for the course.

Access is a course designed for adults (19 years of age and older) who would like to progress to study at university. For a fuller description of the ACCESS to HE Diploma course please enter 'Access to HE' into the course directory box on the home page or click Access to Higher Education above .

Degrees, HND, Year 3 Top-ups
The College is delighted to be able to offer students a real alternative to traditional university study. Through designing our own degrees and validating them with Middlesex University we have developed a way to provide cost effective programmes without compromising the support and guidance given to students. So, if you are thinking about not going to university, or perhaps you are already employed and want to obtain a degree study with us in WI******er one day a week 1:30pm-7:30pm. Please page down for information on subjects available. Applications are not made via UCAS but can be made via the website by selecting a degree subject (below), selecting your chosen course and then using the apply online button on the right handside of the course outline or by ringing student services on 01962 886166 and asking for a hardcopy application form. Although courses start in October 2015 you can apply for a place up until 31st October 2015. Fees are 3,950 p.a. for 2015

NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2014* EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR

We are delighted to offer the Early Years Educator to our suite of education qualifications from September 2014. We will be offering the course via two pathways.

Full time students will attend college on Mondays and Tuesdays. Alongside this on Wednesdays and Thursdays they will be in a childcare placement.

Part time students will already be working in an Early Years environment and will attend college Thursday evenings 5.00-9.00pm

ACE is the Adult Education division of Peter Symonds College. We offer a diverse selection of courses to suit all levels of learners, from introductory courses right through to foundation degrees, providing the student with clear progression routes within their chosen subject area.

In March 2008 the College was graded "outstanding" by Ofsted. At the end of the visit the inspectors commented that they had never participated in an inspection with such outstanding findings.

The Adult & Higher Education Division (AHED) responds to the diverse needs of the wider adult community. Our programme for adults ranges from the development of essential, basic skills, courses for fun and leisure, through to foundation and full honours degrees. AHED aims to provide a second chance for many and the opportunity to advance both in the workplace, socially and academically.
