The Catering department provides a wide variety of services for students, staff and external conferences.

Our outlets include the Food Hall, on level 3 of the University building where hot and cold food is served as well as a variety of beverages for students, staff and visitors. The Games Room on Level 2 which is situated within the Student Union bar offers a variety of hot food for everyone's taste, including the popular Grill (8 Ball) Menu. The Learning Cafe is on Level 4, where our Barista trained

staff serve Tiki Coffee, which is Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance along with other Fairtrade hot and cold drinks. There are other snacks such as sandwiches, biscuits and cakes. Our other Cafe on campus, Cafe Life, is situated in the West Downs Business School; it has a similar offer to the Learning Cafe

It’s WORLD REFILL DAY!♻️

Join us in celebrating World Refill Day on campus and save money on your next drink by bringing your own refillable cup or bottle. To mark World Refill Day on Thursday 16th of June catering outlets across campus you can save 25p on your drink by bringing your own re-usable cup or deciding to drink in, with a china cup or deposit scheme cup. If you haven’t already done so, you can invest in our deposit scheme for just £1 and as a thank you your first drink is half price!

We also encourage you to stay hydrated by bringing a reusable water bottle and filling up at one of our 20+ water bottle refill points around campus which have recorded over 52,000 refills as of January 2022. To put that into perspective that has saved 52,000 plastic bottles of water which is the equivalent of about 1 tonne of plastic.
