🌱 Roots in Community: growing and sharing fresh produce together
Over the past few weeks, residents have been taking home pots of compost and runner bean seeds to sow and nurture themselves before bringing them back to plant out in our community runner bean plot. The first plants are now coming back in and getting settled into their new home 🌱
There’s plenty still to do - watering, weeding and caring for the plants together - but that’s exactly what this project is about. As well as adding fresh vegetables to our sessions later in the summer, it’s creating opportunities to share skills, spend time outdoors, work alongside one another and be part of something meaningful together.
