We wanted to send some love to the fabulous Candi at Bookcase for all who works hard to provide a lovely selection of free books for our clients. One of our volunteers collects and refreshes them regularly so there is always a great selection to choose from.

The Collective Sharehouse is proud to provide more than food support - and we're grateful to the others in our community who enable us to do so!

📅 Thursday 10 September, 1pm – Preparing for job interviews
📅 Thursday 17 September, 1pm – Applying for roles if you have a disability / are neurodivergent

📍 Clements Hall

The sessions are free and open to all, with a friendly, relaxed approach.

A huge thank you for all of your donations this week, they are really appreciated, particularly in the summer holidays. We have had donations from the York Pet Bank, the Hygiene bank in York, shoppers at Morrisons, The Bishy Weigh, Sainsbury’s on Bishopthorpe Road, Micklegate and York station and the Co Op near the Knavesmire, the congregations at St Chads, St Andrew’s and English Martyrs, a donation from Norfolk Street and some private donations. Thank you so much for everything you do! It is very much appreciated ❤️

A reminder about our upcoming closure:

The Sharehouse will need to be closed for 1 full week 24th-28th August. This is because Clements Hall will be fully closed during this week, for essential maintenance work.
We won't be able to take any drop offs and clients won't be able to collect food items during these dates.
We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you can work around these dates.
