Ramadan Mubarak to all who are observing! 🌙✨ Did you know? During Ramadan, dates and water (or tea/coffee) are traditionally the first things eaten to break the fast at sunset.

🌟 Why dates? They are rich in natural sugars, providing a quick energy boost after a long day of fasting.
☕ Why tea or coffee? Many enjoy a warm drink to aid digestion before their evening meal.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, shining a light on a condition affecting 1 in 10 women and people assigned female at birth worldwide. 🌍
Despite being so common, it takes an average of 7-10 years to get diagnosed, often due to lack of awareness and medical bias. In some countries, access to treatment remains a major challenge.
💡 Did you know? Japan was one of the first countries to recognize endometriosis as a significant public health issue, while Sweden leads in research and treatment accessibility.
Let's start conversations, break the stigma, and push for better healthcare worldwide. 💛

✊🏿 David Kato: Fighting for LGBTQ+ Rights in Uganda ✊🏿
David Kato (1964–2011) was a Ugandan LGBTQ+ activist, teacher, and human rights defender. As one of the first openly gay men in Uganda, he fought tirelessly against anti-LGBTQ+ laws and advocated for q***r rights in a country where being LGBTQ+ remains criminalized.
His global impact was felt through his work with organizations like Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG), and he was recognized internationally as a leader in the fight for justice.
