🌍✍️ Introducing The Environmental Activism Network!

As part of a collaboration between Catherine Love-Smith in the School of ACT and Felicia Liu in the Department of Environment and Geography, this new research network has been launched as a interdisciplinary, international initiative that sits at the critical intersection of environmental research, creative practice, and social activism.

By moving beyond traditional, science-led approaches to the climate crisis, the network creates a collaborative space where art and culture act as catalysts for environmental understanding and political action.

📍To find out more or join the network see the York Environmental Sustainability website!

Interactive Media students are getting stuck in! 🎨

🧠✨Our first year BSc Interactive Media students recently got creative, designing 3D prototypes using hands-on materials like playdough and cardboard.

This session was curated by Dr Anna Bramwell-Dicks (Head of Creative Technologies) and delivered by Saad Maqbool. It enabled students to turn creative briefs into tangible forms through teamwork and playful experimentation.
