We’re super excited to have Oscar Solis come and talk to us about his current and past research so save the date (Monday 2nd of March 6-7pm) and come along!🫵🫵

A little bit more info…
Oscar is a PhD student in Cognitive Neuoscience and Neuroimaging at the University of York, and is co-author on publications such as Scene complexity and the detail trace of human long-term visual memory (Vision Research, 2025). His doctoral research in the Complex Cognitive Processing Lab focuses on scene complexity perception and image memorability, investigating how humans make consistent judgements about visual complexity, how that relates to an image’s likelihood of being remembered, and the neural substrates and temporal dynamics underlying these processes. Not only will Oscar talk about his ongoing research, but will also explore his past research experiences within the department. He is also the committee Co-Chair of Building Relationships Between Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (BRAIN) at UoY.
