BAAP 2022 is on the horizon and we're excited to announce that registration is now OPEN and our provisional programme is available to view here: https://sites.google.com/york.ac.uk/baap2022york/home/

Registration is £25 (£20 for students), which gets you access to all of our oral and poster sessions, as well as our four practical workshops on:
- the phonetics of talk in interaction
- voice quality synthesis
- careers in phonetics (in academia and industry)
- Bayesian methods

The 2022 Colloquium of the British Association of Academic Phoneticians will be held at the University of York, 4-8 April 2022. For updates, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and if you have any questions feel free to email us. Registration is now open! The provisional programme is also available

We're pleased to announce that is going ahead as a virtual conference between 4–8 April next year, with content spread across the week. We're still working on the precise format of the online colloquium and we'll update you all on this in due course. In the meantime, the Call for Papers is now open and we encourage submission in any area of phonetics (also in collaboration with other disciplines). We can't wait to see what you've all been up to!

On Tuesday 31st March, we will host a series of workshops on various topics related to phonetics. Each session will be two hours and we will have three workshops running concurrently in each of the slots. Provisional timings are:
