Ewan is a composer and facilitator who has come through his undergraduate, postgraduate, and now his doctoral studies at York St John University. We're very proud of him!

Ewan is a composer, educator, pianist and improviser, currently undertaking a PhD in Music Composition at York St John University. Early Years Specialist to run 2 new early years groups for children ages 3-4 and 5-7 as well as to run the primary school aged Youth Choir – 3.5 hours. This is a very exciting new opportunity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping these early years sessions and will be able to have a lot of influence over how they operate.

Do come along to tomorrow's lunchtime concert at YSJ, if you're in the area. Matthew Schellhorn will be playing a new piece by Leeds-based composer Ben Gaunt, along with the solo piano version of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. 12:15 in the Creative Centre Auditorium - free of charge.

We had a fabulous day with guest artist Esme Bridie, with a lunchtime concert and seminars on songwriting and community music … so many brilliant take aways for the students in thinking about how to set up and manage a portfolio career.
