我們很高興邀請到本學院助理教授 賽馬會「智‧幼‧趣」計劃 Jockey Club ‘CoolPlay’ Project 計劃 聯席總監陳裕榮博士，與家長分享以遊戲為本學習的理念，並帶領親子互動工作坊。

活動中，家長與孩子透過斜坡、軌道及積木等動手探索，從遊戲中認識空間、平衡與結構等概念 💡，同時享受珍貴的親子時光，從而學習培養創意、合作及解難能力。這些溫馨的學習片段，讓我們再次感受到「從遊戲中學習」的力量 💛

We recently enjoyed a wonderful and meaningful weekend with 611 Tree of Life Kindergarten! 🌿

We were delighted to have Dr. CHAN Yu-wing, Brad, Assistant Professor and Co-leader of the Jockey Club “CoolPlay” Project, share insights on play-based learning with parents, followed by an engaging parent-child workshop.

Through hands-on exploration with ramps, pathways, and constructive building play, families discovered foundational concepts such as space, balance, and structure 💡- all while enjoying precious quality time together. This experience naturally nurtured creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Moments like these remind us of the power of learning through play 💛

🎉 優質童年計劃，一載同行，週年快樂！

在《聯合國兒童權利公約》的引領下，耀中幼教學院於 2025 年 4 月啟動了優質童年計劃 (計劃)，懷抱著一個熾熱的夢想：讓每一位孩子都能享有優質童年，並盡情綻放潛能！

在私人捐贈與大學教育資助委員會配對補助金的慷慨支持下，優質童年計劃走過了成果豐碩的第一年。一起來看我們的足跡吧！

1️⃣ 研究為本‧跨專業服務：過去一年，我們已為出現發展遲緩及至有複雜發展需要的兒童和家庭，提供了超過 70 次專業評估與介入服務！

2️⃣ 教育為本‧點燃課程新火花：教育一直是耀中幼教學院的核心使命。我們將體驗式學習融入課程，激發準幼教老師的熱忱與專業。我們舉辦了「人工智能與科技在神經多元群體中的應用」專業發展論壇，讓前線專業人員掌握 21 世紀輔助科技的最新知識，為課堂注入新能量！

3️⃣ 走出香港‧連結國際與本地力量：為了讓更多特教孩子與家庭受惠，團隊已經開展了兩輪本地及國際幼稚園教師同工培訓，足跡更遠至肯尼亞！培訓中，大家熱烈探討多元共融與行為管理，促進跨文化的同行交流。

Guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Quality Childhood Initiative (QCI) was established at YCCECE in April 2025 with a bold vision: to celebrate quality childhood for every child and nurture their full potential.

Generously supported through a private donation matched by the University Grants Committee (UGC), QCI has made remarkable strides in its first year.

1. Research-Informed, Interdisciplinary Professional Service
Over the past year, we have delivered more than 70 professional assessments and intervention services to children with signs of developmental delays and complex developmental needs, alongside their families.

2. Education & Curriculum Enrichment
Education lies at the heart of YCCECE’s mission. QCI integrates experiential learning into our curriculum to inspire and prepare the next generation of educators. We hosted Professional Development Forum on AI and Technology Applications in Neurodiverse Populations, equipping frontline professionals with the knowledge and tools to harness assistive technology in the 21st-century classroom.

3. Local & International Capacity Building
To ensure that children with SEN and their families benefit fully, both locally and globally, the QCI team has delivered two rounds of teacher and staff capacity-building training to international and local kindergartens, extending our reach as far as Kenya.

As we celebrate our first anniversary, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners, donors, and families. Here’s to many more years of meaningful impact!
