Job Description

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is a government organization promoting trade and investment activities between Korea and the world.

We are recruiting an associate for Investment Promotion. The person will be responsible for identifying, attracting and supporting companies to set up or expand in Korea by planning and executing investment promotion activities.

Job Responsibilities:



§ Identifying, approaching, and liaising with innovative enterprises and investors with direct investment potential.

§ Working with potential investors through their decision process to secure new investment/expansion to the Republic of Korea.

§ Manage the client journey through KOTRA’s internal process, making sure that all administrative and reporting requirements are met, including recording of progress and success.

§ Plan and execute investment promotion activities.

§ Promoting KOTRA, Invest Korea at industry events.

§ Assist Korean investors’ finding overseas MnA targets.

§ Handle ad hoc projects as assigned



Qualifications and Requirements:

§ Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent

§ Right of abode in Hong Kong.

§ Excellent presentation and communication skills in English

§ Proficiency in Korean, Mandarin/ Cantonese is beneficial

§ Solid verbal, written, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills

§ People-oriented and with good communications & interpersonal attributes

§ Familiar with business entities in Hong Kong

§ Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office

§ Those with prior consulting exposures in relevant disciplines will be an added value

올해 한글날을 기념하기 위해 주홍콩한국문화원과 양원선재단에서 Hangeul Design Competition 2021를 개최합니다.

Hangeul (Korean alphabet) is a writing system created by King Sejong the Great in 1443. To commemorate the invention of Hangeul and to promote the beauty and excellence of it, Hangeul Day is celebrated on October 9th in Korea every year.

For this year, the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is collaborating with the Yang Won Sun Foundation to host a Hangeul-themed design competition. It is aimed to promote interest in Hangeul among Hong Kong citizens, and share the beauty of Hangeul through creative graphic designs.

The Hangeul Design Competition will kick-off on July 15th, with up to HKD 45,000 Prizes in total. An award-ceremony will be held on Oct 9th at the Korean Cultural Center (Central, PMQ).
